For Clubs

Women’s golf is built at club level – through regular play, competitions, and member organisation.

October 2027 is an opportunity to make that participation visible.

One Day of Play + One Page of History

Clubs are invited to take part in a simple way:

  • Run a women’s competition on or around 5 October 2027
  • Share a short page on women’s golf at your club

A Women’s Competition

  • This can be part of your existing schedule
  • Any format, any level
  • A regular medal, stableford, or club competition

A Simple Page on Women’s Golf at Your Club

This can include:

  • When women’s golf began at your club
  • Competitions and regular play
  • Participation across different ages and stages
  • Photos or archive material if available

Flexible and Club-Led

This is not a new structure.

Clubs can decide how much they want to do:

  • A small competition or a larger event
  • A short history or a more detailed account

There is no minimum requirement.

Why It Matters

From the first recorded medal in 1867, to over 1,000 clubs and 100,000 women by 1927, women’s golf developed as a participation system across clubs.

That system continues today.

October 2027 makes that participation visible.

By taking part, your club becomes part of a shared moment across clubs and communities worldwide.
